Résumé
This discussion of the role of divination and oracles in Greek society, politics, and history examines the occasions of consultation, the themes of the questions posed to Dodona’s oracle, and the « decline » of Greek oracles seen by post-classical authors. Evidence is drawn from literary and epigraphic sources, particularly the new Dodona oracular lamellae published in 2013 (=> 86-10413)
